Guy Joseph Jean-Noel Fouché

I am a musician masquerading as a Business Intelligence Consultant (view my resume). My current assignments are with BlueCross BlueShield of Texas in Richardson, Texas and Apress | Books for Professionals, by Professionals. I enjoy Photography, and have no white space left on my walls! Jodi & I spend many weekends on our Honda 600 F4i. I also combine motorcycle riding with my photography skills by taking photographs at the AMA Super Bike races.

Since we do not have children of our own, I mentor others whenever available.

I was born in Paris, France in 1961, a VERY good year for Bordeaux's. My father is French, my mother, Basque. My father, a world-class chef, helped open many restaurants in the US before going home to France in 1981. My mother is an expert seamstress, and helped my dad operate a restaurant in the foothills of the Pyreenen mountains in Southern France.

I have played the trumpet in a variety of settings for 30 years, and I have enjoyed the 'Coil of Torture' ever since I heard Al Hirt and Louis Armstrong when I was a kid.

I have been living in Texas since May 1995 when Guy was transferred from the Twin Cities, Minnesota where we lived for 15 years. We spent our 1st year in Texas downtown Fort Worth at Sundance Square which was a fun way to be introduced to life here. We now rent a house in Garland which is a quiet way to continue life here.

I graduated from Western Kentucky University with an English major in 1981. In 1980 when I was home for the summer I met Guy. We married in 1988. We don't have kids and don't plan to, but we have a nice Christmas cactus and a Silver Tabby named Jasmine.

I have have two brothers and two parents of the opposite sex living in Minnesota. My grandmother is 97 and healthy and lives in Florida and Wisconsin.

Two years ago, after many unhappy career choices (and a point or two of light) I found massage therapy which is the vocation I had been looking for. I also write, mostly poetry, and read a lot. I like books on health, yoga, and spirituality, with some physics, current affairs and biography now and then.

I love dinners out and wine and small gatherings of friends. I enjoy written correspondence. Please feel free to send me an e-mail.
