  • Analysis, development and implementation of Charge-off methodology. These processes provide COAF with the ability to predict, track, review & analyze losses, recoveries and redemptions of deficient accounts.
  • Analysis, development and implementation of General Ledger data exchange between COAF and Capital One Finance (COF). This exchange provides Capital One with branch loss, recovery and redemption transactions from COAF directly into the COF general ledger.
  • Analysis, development and implementation of finance cube. This multi-dimensional data store allows COAF to review & analyze losses, recoveries and redemptions of deficient accounts. This decision support system drives the determination of charge-off expense and loan reserve inventories on an ongoing basis.
  • These efforts used SQL Server 2000, SQL Server Analysis Services, XMLSpy, XML & Visual Studio.NET

  • Analysis, development and implementation of Wireless Carrier / Manufacturer billing engines for cellular telephone repair centers. These engines provide Solectron with the following functionality: Split billing, Dual billing, In and Out of Warranty billing, as well as billing backup feeds to Manufacturer claims systems.
  • Analysis, development and beta implementation of cell phone WIP Disposition system. This system uses multi-dimensional data stores to provide near real-time tracking of cellular phones throughout the repair & refurbishment processes. When fully implemented, this system will provide Solectron the ability to measure and assess their performance in the following key areas: Turn around time (TAT), Station performance & Capacity planning.
  • These efforts used SQL Server 2000, SQL Server Analysis Services, MS Access, Cognos Transformer, Cognos PowerPlay, XML & Visual Studio.NET
